Spyros Vangelakis presents the photo exhibition “Echographies” at Technopolis - City of Athens from 3 to June 7, 2015, organized within the celebrations of the 15th Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival.
The exhibition displays musical meetings in Greece and abroad, mainly in the area of jazz and attempts to highlight the universality of the language of music. Musicians from all over the world travel to meet and ‘conspire’, to communicate the splendor of improvisational music that knows no borders.
The hands are the stars, since they handle the instruments, the beautiful curves, the abundancy of designs, the keys and imaginary notes are impressive. Old and young, talented and gifted musicians star on stage, while an enthusiastic audience of all ages and all sexes and races follows devotedly their daily gigs, creating a unique atmosphere.
Through the Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival and the Preveza Jazz Festival, and Stockholm Jazz Festival all well, we have had the opportunity, to enjoy many important music ensembles from around the world, giving us not only great music but unprecedented images. To be continued on stage!

Συνάντηση πολιτισμών και αισθήσεων
Ο Σπύρος Βαγγελάκης παρουσιάζει τη φωτογραφική έκθεση «Ηχογραφίες»
στο πλαίσιο του 15ου AthensTechnopolis Jazz Festival.
Η έκθεση καταγράφει μουσικές συναντήσεις στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό, κυρίως από τον χώρο της τζαζ και προσπαθεί να αναδείξει την παγκοσμιότητα της μουσικής γλώσσας. Μουσικοί απ’ όλο τον κόσμο ταξιδεύουν για να συναντηθούν και να συνωμοτήσουν, να επικοινωνήσουν το μεγαλείο της αυτοσχεδιαστικής μουσικής που δεν έχει σύνορα.
Τα χέρια πρωταγωνιστούν, αφού χειρίζονται τα όργανα, οι όμορφες καμπύλες τους, η πληθώρα σχεδίων, πλήκτρων και κλειδιών εντυπωσιάζουν. Παλιοί και νέοι ταλαντούχοι και χαρισματικοί μουσικοί πρωταγωνιστούν επί σκηνής, ενώ ένα ενθουσιώδες κοινό όλων των ηλικιών κι όλων των φύλων και φυλών ακολουθεί φανατικά τα καθημερινά gigs, δημιουργώντας μια ατμόσφαιρα μοναδική.
Μέσα από το Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival και το Preveza Jazz Festival σε αυτά τα 15 χρόνια είχαμε την ευκαιρία να απολαύσουμε πολλά σημαντικά μουσικά σύνολα από όλο τον κόσμο, δίνοντάς μας όχι μόνο εκπληκτική μουσική αλλά και εικόνες πρωτόγνωρες. Η συνέχεια επί της σκηνής!
